Today's Announcements:

This version of the software that drives this system, Bulletron Internet Operating System, is now seven years old. Work has begun on a Version 12, with the design goals being:

ten times faster transmission speed, by taking advantanges of recently standardized HTTP 1.1 protocol extensions;
increasing material available on-line from 100 Gbytes to 10 Tbytes, with most of the additional capacity being occupied by real-time streaming video;
4 billion private (two party) chat rooms, with a proprietary JAVA client for real-time, keystroke by keystroke, instantaneous interaction;
full compliance with the W3C Strict standard for XHTML;
Secure sockets (SSL) for all protocols with 256 bit encryption.

While this is being worked on, we have applied a few patches to the old system to allow ordering video productions digitally re-mastered on DVD, and to collect the "cvv2" codes from credit cards (required by our new bank/merchant service).

The 10 Tbytes of new video material has already been collected and catalogued and is being stored on 20 spindles of DVDs. To make all this happen, we are inventing a new neural network topology with enormous artificial intelligence, that we call Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Processors (which does for CPUs what RAID did for disk drives).
